Frequently Asked Questions
-
The Clink Clicker uses positive reinforcement by marking a behavior with a click the moment it happens. This gives your dog immediate feedback, letting them know exactly what they did right, followed by a treat to reinforce the behavior.
-
It depends on the size of the treat. For Clink Training Treats, the Clink Clicker can hold approximately 30 - 40 treats. This amount is perfect for a small training session or for what you might need to carry daily.
-
If the desiccant sheet becomes soft, it’s time to change it. Typically, we recommend changing it every 2-3 weeks, but always keep an eye on the sheet’s texture for the best results.
-
We recommend using small, dry treats that are less than 1cm on the longest side. Opt for treats that don’t crumble to keep the treat compartment clean and make training more efficient.
-
When using the Clink Clicker, it's crucial to avoid placing wet treats inside. Wet treats can spoil easily, making them challenging to clean out and potentially damaging the desiccant's effectiveness.
The Clink Clicker's construction with hygienic ABS+PC material, coupled with the inclusion of a desiccant, significantly reduces the need for frequent cleaning. This combination effectively maintains a clean and dry environment for your treats.
However, if cleaning becomes necessary, you can do so by unscrewing the two internal connection screws and carefully separating the parts. This allows for easy access and cleaning of the interior. Just remember, the top part of the Clink Clicker should not be placed in the dishwasher, as it contains metal components that may be damaged by dishwashing.
