What is Clicker Training?

  • Clicker training is a highly effective, positive reinforcement method that uses a click sound to mark a desired behavior the moment it happens, followed by a treat as a reward.
  • This immediate, consistent feedback clearly communicates to your dog exactly what they did right, helping them understand and repeat desired actions more quickly.
  • The distinct click sound provides clarity that verbal cues can lack, as it signals instantly that your dog has performed the correct behavior, creating a strong association between the action and positive outcomes.
  • By pairing each click with a treat, your dog becomes motivated to repeat the behavior, making training faster, clearer, and more enjoyable for both of you.
